Fission Mailed…
I trotted out this evening with my Samyang fisheye, with the intention of getting some shots I could process using HDR. I don’t know if it’s the lens, or my technique, but I cannot get the HDR results I want with it. Yet.
In the meantime, a the sun setting over farmland, with the moon making an appearance.

Goldfinches
A while back, I treated myself to a ridiculous lens, which has the branding of Jintu. Others are available with different names, and all do the same thing – 420mm – 800mm, with manual zoom, manual focus, variable aperture.
I’ve mainly used it for relatively static things up to now, but as it was sunny at lunchtime, I snapped these Goldfinches on the feeder in the garden. Not the easiest of things to capture with this lens.
